What is it made of?
Environmental friendliness
The most important thing for me is the environmental friendliness of the products. That’s why I don’t buy ready-made modeling clay. I carefully select ingredients for mixtures that should be ecological, but at the same time not affect the strength and other important properties of products.

Cold porcelain
Cold porcelain is a mixture of ingredients that is used for artistic modeling. There is nothing in common with classical porcelain. Externally, this mass is very reminiscent of both clay and plasticine. The composition of such porcelain primarily includes corn starch, PVA glue, mineral oil and glycerin. The mixture is boiled to the required consistency. Then the mass is colored with dyes. We get a plastic, harmless material from which you can mold anything.
It should be taken into account that the open mass dries very quickly, so it is necessary to form it within a few minutes. Drying takes place at room temperature, the process can take from 2 to 10 days (depending on the thickness of the product and weather conditions). After drying, the products must be covered with a water-based protective varnish. Products made of cold porcelain are very light and slightly plastic.
I usually use this material to make jewelry. If you follow the CARE RULES for the products, they will please you for a long time.
Papier mache
I mostly use papier-mâché for decor items.
I remember, as a child, in labor lessons, we pasted the saucers with pieces of newspapers, then dried them, removed the blank from the mold, painted it with gouache and joyfully carried it home, to present such beauty to parents)). This was the first experience with one of the papier-mâché techniques. Back then, we used a paste that our mothers made for us from water and flour, and a cut newspaper.
Today, there are many recipes for papier-mâché.The basis of all these masses is paper and glue, and many additions that improve the mass. Additives can be: flour, putty, starch, glycerin, mineral oils and others, depending on what properties we want to give the mass.

Imprints
I really like imprints of natural plants. They make each item unique because I make the molds myself.
I use cotton cords and lace.
